Since 2008, BCI has held an annual gala. Known today as Derby after Dark, this event combines all the fun of the Kentucky Derby with celebrating those who do great things to ensure opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.

In 2024, we had over 450 guests join us at the gala, and together, we raised $217,000 to support BCI’s mission.

Our next Derby After Dark will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Filled with the excitement of the Kentucky Derby race, coupled with dinner, cocktails, live entertainment, dancing, and much more, this night is sure to be spectacular!

On this night of nights, we also honor a Loving Hands award recipient as well as our Employment Partner of the Year and Packaging Customer of the Year.
